This AX combo is perfectly tailored and designed for scale and tracker practice.
The AX motor has a new sensor model but also an "offset" rotor shaft that allows for much smoother and more fluid operation. Deceleration is smoother, more consistent, and therefore perfectly suited for scales and crawlers. The efficiency is disturbing. AX combos are made for use in harsh environments with water and dust. The new controller housing design ensures a perfect seal while ensuring optimal cooling. The new sensor design (with gasket and screw system) also protects the assembly. High precision magnetic encoder allows more accurate information to be provided to the ESC than with standard sensors for increased performance and efficiency.
FOC (Field Oriented Control)
This feature allows you to maintain the speed of the car (which you have commanded using the remote control trigger) regardless of variations in terrain. In this way, the motor maintains its rotational speed and torque, whether you are going uphill, downhill or on the flat.
The Xerun AX controller has battery reverse polarity protection and a bluetooth module to configure ESC with your smartphone. You will be able to adjust many parameters such as the drag brake and thus adjust the braking when going up, to maintain a position or to descend. This will prevent it from coming to an abrupt stop when you release the throttle trigger.
Choose your motor according to the KV
This combo is available with various motors (1200kv, 1800kv, 2300kv and 2700kv) to suit different vehicle categories and sizes.
a) 1400KV motor is suitable for Cross Country Crawlers
b) 1800 or 2300 kv motors are suitable for 1.9 scale (SCX10, CRX, TRX4 for example)
c) The 3300kv motor is suitable for heavier scales that are powered by a 550 motor (TRX4 or CRX if you want more speed).
The higher the KV, the higher the speed. Therefore, you can choose according to your category or your practice (slow climber - medium speed track or fast Ultra 4)
Tip: Disassemble and clean the motor, then lubricate the bearings after driving in rough conditions.
