The Wraith 1.9 RTR, however, is the first and only one created by Axial 's designers specifically to offer Wraith's bashability and technical rock-crawling ability while running on 1.9 wheels and tires. This vehicle expertly combines the original Wraith full tube frame with the AR44™ axles and AX10™ drivetrain from the SCX10™. Additional tweaks like skid plate reduction and bottom rail size increase ground clearance enough to power over rocks, sand, mud, and any other type of backyard bump. The Axial ® Wraith ™ 1.9 is a new 1/10 scale ready-to-run platform that offers it all, with the exciting scale look you want!
CHASSIS TUBE AND FORWARD MOUNTED CG LOW BATTERY TRAY
The foundation of the Wraith™ 1.9 platform is this new full tube chassis with the durability you'll need for fast action on, up and over the rocks. The chassis places the battery in the front, allowing easy access and providing the perfect weight distribution for aggressive climbs.
WB8 HD WILDBOAR™ DRIVE SHAFTS
The WB8 HD Wildboar™ front and rear driveshafts feature an updated design with a larger diameter cross pin (2x11mm) along with an M4 screw shaft (2mm hex drive) for added strength.A central knurled slider floats between each end and features additional material that reduces flex and fatigue. • 3-piece drive shaft with reinforced slider-float tube. • Captured cross pin design eliminates the old set screw design for durability and easy maintenance. •Adjustable length driveline parts included in the box.
INNER FENDER GUARDS
Molded-in inner fender wells help reduce routine maintenance by keeping dirt and debris kicked up by the tires from entering the chassis.They're another example of Axial ingenuity - they double as part of the battery tray and feature simulated cooling vents for added realism.
AR44 ONE PIECE SHAFT
The sprocket is 6mm above center, allowing for more ground clearance and better driveshaft angles.High sprocket design has increased surface contact for increased durability.The front and rear axles of the AR44 feature a one piece design with molded truss for extreme durability.Integrated C-hubs and lockouts offer optimized performance and improved ground clearance.Metal dogbones, helical cut internal gears and high quality bearings are all standard equipment.The ring/locker gear is a single unit piece made of strong sintered metal and the pinion is CNC cut for durability.
MOLDED PLASTIC GRILLE AND RADIATOR
The front of the body is highlighted by a molded plastic grille and two large 5mm lamps with factory-installed LEDs , for realism that continues to shine when the sun goes down!Clear rectangular lenses cover two smaller 3mm holes (LEDs for these are not included).Axial 's attention to scale realism shows throughout the front end of the Wraith 1.9 RTR.Take a close look at the front grille, for example, and you'll notice additional molded details that replicate an intricate honeycomb of radiator cooling fins.
